USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Compulsory Team: Levels 3, 4, and 5
Gymnasts at this level must be proficient in the skills necessary to perform routines which are designed by USA Gymnastics. USAG levels are progressive, building upon the skills required at the previous level. The compulsory competitive season is September through December.
USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Compulsory Team: Levels 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10
Optional Level gymnasts follow USAG guidelines and compete individually choreographed routine. Levels 6, 7 and 8 have competitive opportunities up to and including the Wyoming State Championships and Level 7 & 8 gymnasts who qualify may compete at the Regional III Championships. The Level 9 competitive season culminates at the Western Championships and the Level 10 at the Jr. Olympic National Championships. We are striving to develop girls to compete at these levels in the next few years. Girl’s Optional Season is January through March, but may run as late as April/May if they qualify for Championships beyond the State level.
